Having always played dressup as a kid, Ashley debuted her first costume at Gencon '11 after being inspired by the character designs in Batman Arkham Asylum. It was all down hill from there! Using home-ec level sewing skills, Ashley constructs costumes out of pre-existing pieces and from scratch. she enjoys working with new materials and learning various techniques to improve her skill. Networking and conventions have allowed her to meet fellow costumers, make lots of friends, and be inspired by others!
